If you already have an apple watch, android watch, fitbit, etc., that device can be used to collect the data via GoogleFit or HealthKit, otherwise, you will be given a DayBand. Overview of clinical research

What is clinical research with respect to a mobility aid?

Clinical research studies or trials help physicians and scientists to study the effects of different mobility devices with respect to patients’ health and recovery.

What is informed consent?

Before enrolling in a clinical trial or study, you must read and sign an Informed Consent Form (ICF). The ICF contains information about the study, including the study goals, how long the study will last, the benefits and risks, and the tests and procedures you will receive.

What does study participation involve?

Study participation typically involves visiting a clinic regularly, using the device as instructed, and having assessments to monitor your health. You can still see your regular doctor, but you should let them know that you are participating in a study.

Participation in clinical research studies is your choice and you may withdraw from the study at any time.
